Something on my mind: An interaction session with psychiatrist and psychologist, 27th March, Saturday, 4:00 p.m.
Hello everyone! Greetings from the IISc Wellness Centre.
“What mental health needs is more sunlight, more candour, and more unashamed conversation.” – Glenn Close
We are glad to organize the 6th session of “Something on my mind”. The pandemic continues to take a toll on the various aspects of our lives- be it work, academics, personal life, or health. Here is the opportunity to clear any of your doubts on mental well-being, due to the pandemic or otherwise.
Date and time: 27th March, Saturday, 4:00 p.m.
The panellists include: Dr. Ajit Bhide, Consulting Psychiatrist
Dr. Virupaksha H. S., Consulting Psychiatrist
Mr. Varun Kaul, Counselling Psychologist, and motivational speaker
You can ask your queries using the above link any time before the event
About the event: We present you with a panel of experts — consulting psychiatrist and psychologist — who will address your questions directly during the session. You can submit your questions via Google forms (link below). Attending this session will also help you understand what others are going through and some common doubts we all have. As with many other things, we need to address mental health more openly and treat it as a priority, along with our physical well-being. Having open discussions about mental health helps reduce the stigma surrounding it. So, feel free to ask questions about anything that has been bothering you, making you feel stressed, anxious, or insecure. This is a judgement-free zone. Hope to see you there!
There will also be a chance to ask questions directly to the experts during the event. We will try to cover as many queries as possible within the time available. This is a monthly session that is conducted on the last Saturday of every month. Questions not covered in a particular session will be taken up in the subsequent sessions.
Thanks, and best regards,
