Mr Jeet Nath

Mr. Jeet Nath is a certified mental health professional with extensive experience in mental health promotion, psychosocial wellbeing, and advocacy. His work spans clinical practice, community mental health, rights-based interventions, and institutional wellbeing initiatives. He holds an M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India. Mr. Nath has worked across diverse mental health organizations and establishments, contributing to initiatives in social action, community development, and public health, including participation in WHO-related projects. His professional experience includes work at Cadabams Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Bengaluru, where he supported individuals with severe mental illness, high-risk behaviours, psychological distress, and crisis situations. He has also been associated with leading national and international institutions through internships and collaborations, including the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru. Additionally, he has served as Visiting Faculty at S-VYASA University, contributing to the training of healthcare and allied health professionals. Earlier in his career, he was a youth leader from Assam and initiated The Red Movement to address menstrual stigma and period shaming.

Ms. Nikhitha Vinod K V 

Nikhitha Vinod K.V. is a Psychiatric Social Worker with six years of professional experience across clinical practice, community mental health, and capacity-building. She holds an M.Phil. in Psychiatric Social Work from the Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (IMHANS), Kerala. She began her career at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru, as Project Coordinator for the project “Community Assisted Living for Persons with Disability,” contributing to programme planning, developing state- level training manuals and modules, and conducting state- and district- level training programmes for government officials and other stakeholders. She later worked with the District Mental Health Programme (DMHP) at the Government District Hospital, Kannur, providing individual and family interventions and delivering training for police personnel, school counsellors, community counsellors, psychologists, and frontline health workers, and serving as a panel discussant in professional forums. Her therapeutic strengths include supportive psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, solution focused brief therapy, family and systems-based work, trauma informed care, crisis intervention, and psychosocial rehabilitation. Justin Johnson

Mr. Justin Johnson, a Psychiatric Social Worker, earned his M.Phil. in Psychiatric Social Work from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru, in 2023. Mr. Johnson began his social work education in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. His Master of Social Work (MSW) at Pondicherry University (2016-2018) honed his skills in working with people with various psychosocial needs. Following the MSW, he worked on a Kerala government project focused on improving the lives of the elderly in care homes. He also completed a one-year fellowship in Psychosocial Support in Disaster Management at the Department of Psychosocial Support in Disaster Management, NIMHANS. Ms Syeda Tamanna Yasmin

Ms. Syeda Tamanna Yasmin is a certified Psychiatric Social Worker with a strong social work background. She holds an M. Phil in Psychiatric Social Work from Kasturba Medical College & Hospital, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, Karnataka. Her educational qualifications also include a Masters in Social Work (Medical & Psychiatric Social Work) and a Bachelors in Social Work.
During her M.
